Dennison Earns Physics Prize At Miami University
Stanley M. Dennison of Milford is among five Miami University sophomores named for the 1969 Joseph Culler Prizes in Physics. Twelve students were selected overall, with seven freshmen also earning prizes, in recognition of academic excellence in physics. Dennison, a physics major, graduated from Clermont Northeastern High School and is the son of Mr and Mrs Marlin Dennison.

Milford Board Approves Teacher Salary Increases
The Milford Exempt School Board reached a wage agreement with teachers after weeks of negotiations. Salary increases range from 18 to 584 dollars annually with extended sick leave, funded by cutting several budget items totaling about 64 000 dollars. Continuous reductions will persist until new operating funds arrive, with plans to re submit the eight mill levy later this year.

Suit Filed To Recover Damages In Batavia Fire Loss
Terry Priefer and his father John Priefer of Batavia sue to recover 8866 paid to Rosenweig Michaelson Inc for business losses after a 100000 fire almost two years ago. Royal Indemnity filed the suit. It is alleged the boy started a fire in a passage between the Hamilton Building and Market Streets destroying Rosenweig’s Department Store and Creager Clermont Tire Supply Co.
