Development likely in business sector
Fran Schwiermann reports a Clermont County trend toward increased commercial development over residential growth. High interest rates delayed expansion, but a Holiday Inn motel and new chains in Eastgate and Miami Township signal movement. Property values rise as national chains buy former smaller sites, while residential permits fell in 1982.
