Security fight as jury seats for Weston trial in Bethel

A clerked jury pool of 75 potential jurors plus 12 seated for the Weston aggravated murder case faced extensive voir dire over three days. Security was heightened with a sheriff's court unit and metal detector doorway as the trial begins with opening arguments anticipated Friday. Milacron and Ford resume work at two Ohio plants

About 1,500 hourly workers returned to duty January 10 at Ford Batavia Transmission Plant in Clermont County and Milacron plastics machinery plant in Afton. Ford confirms roughly 900 workers ended mid December gown time as slumping sales easing. Milacron has 600 workers back with 300 still on indefinite layoff, and non supervisory staff under furlough. Poor orders and business conditions blamed.

Milford seeks annexation of 215 acres in Union Township

Jury Hear Tales Of Thefts And Vandalism Indictments

A Clermont County grand jury indicted two Cincinnati men for theft of items from Radio Shack Eastgate Mall during pre Christmas shopping.
