Finer Limestone Meals Are Shown Economical in Tests

Ohio Agricultural Experiment Station reports No. 10 grade limestone meal is more economical than No. 8 due to finer grinding, with price spreads about 15 cents per ton. Agricultural limestone meal definitions hinge on fineness, 20 to 35 percent passing No 100 sieve and at least 80 percent passing No 60 sieve, guiding lime recommendations. Floribunda roses and climbers نامed as popular new varieties accompany the agronomy findings.

Copper sulfate treatment frees sewers from tree roots

Ohio experts advise using crude or moderately fine copper sulfate crystals to free clogged sewers. The chemical dissolves quickly and lodges in the root mass to kill roots with no harm to trees. Sewage organisms help disintegrate dead root material as it sloughs away. For sluggish sewers, introduce 2 or 3 pounds of crystals.
