Circus by Clermont and Brown County Boy Scouts in Williamsburg

Approximately 500 Scouts Cub Scouts and Explorers participated in a circus Thursday night December 8 at Williamsburg high school gym. Six hundred spectators enjoyed clowns scout games signaling first aid and demonstrations. Scouts came from Ripley Georgetown Russellville Mt Crab Batavia Williams burg Amelia Bethel Felicity New Richmond Mt Carmel Owensville Goshen Newtonsville Marathon Milford Mulberry and Williamsburg. Carlton Hyde Boy Scout Field Executive called the event a year highlight.

Clermont County Safety Council discussed hazard elimination on Route 74 after a fatal Batavia incident.
