Tuberculosis Fight Grows Through Christmas Seals Campaign
A century long effort against tuberculosis is described with the founding of the National Tuberculosis Association in 1904 and today 3,000 local groups work with health departments on case funding education rehabilitation and research. Despite progress the disease kills about 50 600 Americans yearly and Christmas Seals fund ongoing battles in communities nationwide.
