Clermont County Adopts Christmas Fund for Welfare Children
The Clermont County Department of Child Welfare plans a Christmas for children in care and thanks Kum Joim Us Circle and many church and club groups for contributions. Locust Corner 4-H Club earned $25 and donated it to the fund. Public urged to contribute gifts or money.

Judkins Resigns Ohio Post to Lead Virginia Horticulture
Wesley P. Judkins, heading small fruit research at the Ohio Agricultural Experiment Station since 1943, resigns effective December 1 to become head of the Department of Horticulture at Virginia Polytechnic Institute Blacksburg. He also taught at Ohio State University and has ties to the University of Connecticut and New Mexico A&M College. As a Pomological Society member, he edited Fruit Varieties and Horticultural Digest while at Wooster. He belongs to Sigma Xi and the American Society for Horticultural Science.
