Wheat allotment rules aid Clermont County farmers

E C Saxton A C P Chairman says farmers with no wheat allotment or under eight acres may grow eight acres for 1939 harvest without penalties on other conservation payments. Individual payments for not exceeding wheat base allotment run 3.50 to 4.00 dollars per acre. If 25 percent rye is mixed in seed the crop becomes a general depleting crop and won’t count as wheat next year.
