Clermont Northeastern Board Adopts 1973 Budget
The Clermont Northeastern Board of Education approved a 1973 general fund budget of about 1.96 million dollars and a total operating levy of 26 mills. A 1.9 mill operating levy renewal appears on the November ballot without raising taxes. The district hires 30 new teachers and two principals, with the Intermediate School beginning IGE staff training and delaying start dates for grades 3 to 5 to September 5.
