Music Association Meets Aug 16 at Amelia High School
The Amelia Junior-Senior High School Music Association will meet August 16 at 8 p.m. in the high school music room. Beverly Sims will outline the concession stand project plans for the football season. Volunteers are urged to attend. marching band majorettes and drill team rehearse daily 9 to 11:30 a.m. An ice cream social is set for Saturday August 14 at the Amelia United Church starting 4:30 p.m. Homemade ice cream pies cakes hot sandwiches and drinks will be served. social will occur rain or shine.

Mrs. Jean Schulze of 1139 W Ohio Pike Amelia joined a week long professional workshop on reading at Indiana University Bloomington July 19 23. She teaches at Brantner School and the workshop targeted classroom and reading teachers consultants and supervisors in reading curriculum directors and clinical personnel in reading programs practices and materials for corrective instruction.
