Scout Camps Promote Fitness and Character Building
Dan Beard Reservation camps in Miamiville and Preble County run a year round program “Fit for Tomorrow” to boost physical fitness, character, and citizenship among Scouts. The program includes medical checks, fitness testing, outdoor activities, hikes, swimming, and a 25 mile canoe trip with 450 participants so far. Camps run until Aug 24 with remaining space available in late August.
