New Law Spells Pedestrian Duties In Ohio
The Ohio legislature enacted a new traffic law signed by Governor James A. Rhodes and effective August 9. State Highway Safety Director Warren C. Nelson notes the act clarifies red yellow and green signals and pedestrian right of way and explains green arrow signals and rectangular signals. He stresses drivers must stay alert to pedestrians' priority rights.
