Liquor Inspectors and Club Owner Injured in Goshen Raid
In Goshen at Daisy Maes Night Club two Ohio Liquor Control investigators and the club owner, Howard Hausersperger, were injured during an early Sunday raid. Investigators Feiertag and Rimedio entered the premises to seize suspected liquor. Hausersperger allegedly attacked them as they entered. Rimedio suffered facial injuries and Hausersperger faced multiple charges. Feiertag and Rimedio also filed assault and entry charges via Hausersperger's attorney.

County Faces Rabies Claims Payment Dilemma
County commissioners struggle to pay rabies treatment claims with only 300 dollars appropriated already spent and 350 dollars in claims pending. They consider whether the county must cover a bite victim’s rabies prevention when the injury comes from the victim’s own dog. Three-County Road Projects Trustees Vote on BMOP Funds
Township trustees this year declined to renew payments of 400 dollars to BMOP while BMOP sought 600 dollars more to replace the funds. Gas tax distribution by counties and townships rises in July
The July gasoline tax distribution totals 5.99 million dollars with municipalities receiving 3.17 million. Counties share 1.76 million at 20000 per county and 1325 townships split 11.06 million at 800 each. Through seven months in 1963 total payments reach 30.49 million, down 198,933 from a year earlier. The county loss is offset by higher shares to certain towns and townships in the period.
