Easter coloring winners spark Frisch's smile
Frisch's Easter egg coloring contest drew about 384 entries. First prize went to Alicia Bennett Chrissie Darnell and Arlee Stafford while Lorie Carla Smith and David Wallace earned certificate gifts. A special Big Boy tee shirt and thanks from manager Helen Nelson capped the event.

The Clermont County Humane Society will hold a flea market and annual benefit auction on Saturday May 8 at Maple Grove Park off SR 125 near Amelia. Events start at 10 a.m. with the auction at 1 p.m. Pete Heckter serves as auctioneer. 4-H Dog Show Heads to Clermont County Fairgrounds
Clermont County 4-H sponsors an obedience and handling dog show at Owensville on Sunday. Judging starts 9:30 a.m. with day-of entries. Classes include sub-novice, novice, graduate, open utility, brace, showmanship under AKC rules. Proceeds fund the county 4-H dog program.

New Richmond boards approves teacher contracts and buses
The New Richmond Exempted Village School District Board of Education, in a regular April 12 meeting, extended Superintendent Jeffrey Sittason’s contract through June 30, 1984 and set a new effective date of April 1, 1982. The board approved a Red Cross facility use agreement during floods, bought three new buses, noted a successful student parent exchange day, and accepted resignations of two staff while hiring substitutes and other personnel for 1981-82.

Equestrian riders are invited to camp and ride trails around East Fork State Park beginning at noon on Saturday May 15. The 25 mile trail ride starts on Park Road 1 past the park office and ends with an overnight stay in area 4. Advance registration is required, no cost, and space is limited to 22 riders.
