The Ohio Department of Natural Resources enacts camping reservations at East Fork Park with a $1 fee. Pet guidelines require proof of rabies vaccination, leashed pets tied at the campsite, and owners cleaning up. No pets in cabins, on beaches, or off-site. dogs must stay within campsite boundaries. East Fork State Park sponsors a Backcountry Trail Ride on its bri dle trail with divisions for riders. All riders may extend stays. camping gear hay grain and water will be trucked to camping areas. A spring wildflower study and botany program will run April 25 26 starting 9 a m at East Fork State Park. The event promotes wildflower research and field observation in the park’s diverse habitats.
Commander Edgar Simms of Harry C. Dennis American Post 288 announces a math scholarship at Williamsburg High School graduation. Post 288 will display flags on Memorial Day and other occasions, with costs rising. Call 724-7915 for details.
The Williamsburg School Concert Band earned a superior rating at the Ohio Music Education Association Band Competition held at Princeton High School. The superior awards were given for the state finale competition conducted on May 8 and 9.
