North Olmsted routs Strongsville to end 19-game streak
North Olmsted surged with an improved offense to defeat Strongsville 30-14, halting the Mustangs 19-game run. Dan Dunham connected on nine of 11 passes, including a 24-yard strike to John Steel, while Rick Meyers and Marty Stupp scored as the Eagles built a 22-0 halftime lead and held on. Strongsville closed to within 30-14 late as Paul Drake and Heyworth directed the offense, but North Olmsted coach Jerry Boggs highlighted execution and minimizing mistakes as the key difference.
