Midview Club Action Spurs Variety of Events

Many activities described as the Midview Club conducts meetings in Grafton. Discussion covers health levels and a Newonder election wallot with a Get out The Vote committee chair leading. A November meeting plans a style show Cinderella Christmas with prizes and a 50 dollar money doll. Senior clubs district conference hostesses served coffee.

UF Drive Workers Named

Grafton Township chairman Donald Aderman lists 25 volunteers for the Lailed Fund drive begun Monday. Names include Mrs Carl Gomall Mrs Lee Severns Mrs Jack Knechtges Mrs Leonard Baise and 21 others with business men Walter Wildenheim Clair Willer John Edwards and Alex Schweders among supporters. Village Youth Curfew Enforced For Halloween Season

Grafotxn major E C Tog hill announced a 9 30 pm curfew for Halloween. Youths found on streets after the curfew without a valid excuse or a note from a parent will face consequences as stated by Tog hill.

Mothers Study Club Plans Card Party in Belden

Belden Mothers Study Club met 16 members at the kindergarten teacher’s home in Pittsfield to organize two card parties as a sewing project. Events will be sold in advance and at the door at Belden School. They also ordered more dishcloths after a successful dinner that netted $11.75. The next meeting will be at Mrs Harold Thewlis Cowles’ home.

Ladies Aid and League Hold Joint Meeting in Grafton

In Grafton 24 members attended a joint meeting of the Trinity Ladies Aid and Lutheran Ladies League. Officers were nominated for election, a board party planned for Oct 29 at Eaton Grange Hall, and a Christmas dinner was proposed for December. Rev Maurice Shackell spoke on Lutheran liturgical heritage and zone rally notes were shared.

Kiwanis Club Plans Ultra Gala Anniversary Night

GRAFTON Kiwanis marks 15 years with an ultra gala event and ladies night at 5:30 in Graf ton school cafe. Women’s Unit Plans Bazaar Booth at Belden Circle Event

Belden Methodist Young Women’s Society met with Mrs Walter Schroeder of Elyria to plan a booth for the Belden Community Circle bazaar. The group will sell Christmas cards and Mrs aes Hasey was appointed project chairman. Eight members attended the Thursday meeting. Chamberlain Rd will host the women on Nov 20.

Homebuilder's Class Holds Halloween Party

The Homebuilder's Class of the Methodist Church in Grafton held a Halloween party with all members in costume. Activities included a scavenger hunt and a spaghetti supper served by Betty Smith and Hazel Gomall. They planned a church bazaar for November 15 and a famus family supper at 6 p.m. that evening.

Halloween Parade Planned Grafton Fire Dept Plans Bond Vote

Grafton volunteers plan a Halloween parade with refreshments and costume prizes totaling $100. They discuss a proposed fire station and a fire truck, noting at least $15,000 in funds could help with construction if a $16,000 bond is approved. Total station cost is about $62,000. The issues appear on the November 4 ballot.

Mrs Oscar Dunn and granddaughter Cynthia Bush visited Arthur McClintock's home. Herman Scholl and Arthur McClintock parties toured Maidfield and Chagrin Falls including Metropolitan Park System and Squaw Rock. Donald Aderman Jr spent four days in hospital and returned home Thursday.
