Avon Lake Library to expand computer research with grant
Avon Lake Public Library will add a state of the art laptop and a multimedia projector funded by an 8700 Library Services and Technology Act grant from the State Library of Ohio. The project aims to boost Internet training for staff and patrons and will support a broader Senior Computer Link program and student training efforts.

Obituaries Arr, Lebanon and Grafton Residents Die
Bernice Waidmann 83 of Lebanon Ohio died at Otterbein Lebanon retirement community. She was born in Carlinville Illinois a Summers College of Commerce graduate and a United Church of Christ member. Survivors include four sons a daughter nine grandchildren seven great grandchildren and a sister. A memorial service will be held at Otterbein Lebanon Chapel. Rodney Groah 53 of Grafton died at home after a long illness. A Navy veteran of Vietnam he worked 28 years at Ford Motor Co in Brook Park and belonged to United Auto Workers Local 1250. He is survived by his wife four children and a host of relatives. Funeral services will be at David Bogner Family Funeral Home with burial in River Road Cemetery LaGrange Township.
