A gunman opened fire at Thurston High School in Springfield Oregon, killing at least one and injuring up to 16 others. The shooter was taken into custody. Ohio Supreme Court reverses Lenore Flontek conviction for involuntary manslaughter and nonsupport of a dependent, ruling adults are not required to provide care for dependent parents beyond financial support.
