Court orders custody loss for diabetic children in Wisconsin
In Eau Claire Wisconsin a judge ordered a boy and girl both with severe diabetes to be removed from their parents custody. The Stitts were found to have not followed medical advice for insulin dosages leading to unstable blood sugar and the children have been in foster care since February. Both children required multiple hospital visits and missed considerable school days while in foster care.
