General Motors tells more than a million owners of 1980 and 1981 X-car models to inspect for front axle oil seal leaks and worn shifter forks in manual transmissions. GM will pay repairs for affected 1980 81 Chevrolet Citation Pontiac Phoenix Olds Omega and Buick Skylark models. About 1.35 million X-cars have been sold.
