Public relations in trucking and railroads urged
In a King Features Syndicate column, Leelie Gou argues railroads handle public and employee relations better than trucking firms. Trucks damage roads and slow traffic, while railroads lag in passenger handling. The piece calls for stricter city controls, better signals, weight limits, and faster freight processing, noting Eastern rails lag Western ones. The column ends with a petty local tax note about Herbert S. Child in Clinton Massachusetts, who insists on paying his poll tax.
