Woman can sue Cincinnati archdiocese over priest abuse
An appeals court ruled a woman who says she was impregnated by a priest more than 40 years ago may proceed with a suit against the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati. The court said fraud and harassment by church officials may justify filing beyond the statute of limitations and that indoctrination may have deterred her from acting. The archdiocese plans to appeal to the Ohio Supreme Court.
