Patch aims for Derby history with one-eyed racehorse
One eyed Patch eyes the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs as a long shot with trainer Todd Pletcher. Patch has adjusted to limited vision after losing an eye, with Pollard's Vision in 2004 as a prior Pletcher Derby runner who also had one eye. Thunder Snow, Paradise Woods, and other Derby participants are noted, including Lukas collection moving to a Derby Museum.
