West River Road Truck Ban Near Elyria Center
Safety director James T. Tracey announced a two month ban on through-truck traffic on Elyria West River Road from Lodi Street to the north city limits. The stone surface cannot bear heavy trucks during the I 90 and Midway Mall bridge reconstruction. Trucks must use Route 57 and Griswold Road until work is finished.
