Four Shifts Align Eight Opponents to Strengthen Line
A seven man squad faces eight opponents in a ring. Four strongest sit together on one end and four weakest on the other. With four moves moving two adjacent men each, arrange so that each shift places a strong against a weak, creating a united front. The puzzle uses coins in a friendly experiment and notes travel time for supplies and the equating of men to days of food carried.
