Southern Perry County Cloudburst Kills One In Ohio
A cloudburst in southern Perry county Ohio left one dead and caused thousands in damage. Mrs. N. C. Street, 56, was struck by lightning while milking a cow at Sayre. Water flooded Corning main street, Rendville homes, and half of Moxahala, with one house burned after a lightning strike. Railroad engine damages and near wrecks due to rushing waters were reported by Henry Rocks of New York Central.

Seventeen Months Old Among 76 Examined At Crippled Clinic
A 16 month old boy from near the Pennsylvania line was the youngest patient at Gates Hospital for Crippled Children today. He is treated for a foot deformity and shown notable progress since his first examination, making him a strong discharge candidate. Seventy six crippled children from 34 northern Ohio communities were examined. 23 were first time visitors and 53 returned for follow up.

Six Named In Probe Of Tax Evasion
