County Auditor S. Kelser reports a first clear reduction in tax delinquencies, totaling $16,339, against a historic $3,920,000. Checks for the balance go out Monday. $1,000,000 has already been advanced to subdivisions. Run Away Street Cars Run Through East Liverpool
Two runaway interurban street cars roared through East Liverpool's business district injuring six people and wrecking autos. Elyria summer school opens for a six week session Monday with advance registrations indicating about 209 enrollments. Principal J D Severs said enrollments match last year’s level, with many more expected on opening day. last year’s first day totaled 199.
