Broadway underpass still on drawing board in Lorain
City officials and engineers from Mosure & Syrakis, ODOT, and FHA plan detailed designs for the Broadway underpass between West Ninth and West 13th Streets. The 1,570-foot project, costing over 2.9 million dollars, could start construction after 1983 with 20 nearby business purchases and a year and a half build time while traffic remains open.

Ridgeville Bike Rodeo at South Central Park Aug 5
A bicycle safety rodeo will be held at South Central Park on August 5 from 10 am to 2 pm. Sponsored by Lorain County Metro Parks and the city parks and recreation department, the event includes a safety lecture bicycle inspections and written and riding tests.
