Ohio man faces rape charge at Somerset Interchange
Ohio man Thomas Griggs, 21, of Akron, was arrested Thursday at the Somerset Interchange of the Pennsylvania Turnpike while hitchhiking. He was wanted for assaulting and raping a 70-year-old Maryland woman in Grantsville, Md. He offered no resistance and is held in Somerset County Jail on $25,000 bond pending extradition.
