Haserodt street clock restored by Rittman dealer
Hugh Strickland, former Elyrian, rescued the 1910 Seth Thomas street clock from Haserodt jewelry at 505 Broad St Elyria and re erected it before his Rittman Chevrolet Buick agency. The 20 foot tall, 175 pound iron timepiece was moved in 1969 and now keeps time with little maintenance as visitors admire its Doric details and historic ties.
