Dollar sinks below 200 yen on fears over oil pricing

The dollar fell past the 200 yen barrier for the first time since World War II as OPEC nations' stance on oil pricing spurred fears its use as a price basis may end. Fire destroys home injuring mother in early morning blast

A Brownhelm Township family survived an explosion and fire that leveled their Middle Ridge Road home near Elyria. Mrs. Carol Harris, 45, was seriously burned and hospitalized, her bedridden son David also admitted, while her husband and daughter Cindy suffered minor injuries. Firefighters battled the blaze for about 30 minutes. the cause is under investigation with furnace failure suspected.
