Full-year 1979 figures show a drop despite strong sales due to inflation and new facilities. PUCO approved a 9.2 percent rate increase in May, expected to lift results but only after the third quarter. The company foresees further rate hikes by mid-1980 and has notified PUCO of plans to seek another increase.
