Nighttime soaps head to reruns across local stations
As 1985 looms, Dallas Dynasty Knots Landing and Falcon Crest will be shown in reruns on many local channels starting in September. Stations hope familiar plots lift ratings, with Dynasty and Knots Landing airing five nights a week on up to 75 stations. Dallas already runs vintage episodes in about 80 cities, while all four serials remain top ten in season ratings.
