Feighan Demands US Protest Over Kim Dae-jung Return

Lorain to accept up to five thousand for Section 8 housing

Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority expects as many as 5,000 applicants next week for the Section 8 waiting list. Applications are 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Lorain Party Center. A lottery will select 600 names for the two year waiting list as the program faces funding shifts under Reagan.

Judge overturns $500,000 diabetes malpractice award

Lorain County Common Pleas Court Judge Adrian Bedleski overturned the jury verdict that awarded $500,000 to the parents of a 15 year old Amherst girl who died seven years ago from inadequate diabetes treatment. The eight member jury had found in favor of Howard and the parents.

Kent State parents decline memorial participation
