Elyria Schools official indicted for theft in office

Rick Kick former director of transportation for Elyria City Schools was secretly indicted by a Lorain County grand jury on one count of theft in office. The 47 year old, of 6968 Lake Avenue Elva resigning February 15 faced a ten year maximum, a $5,000 fine or both. He allegedly stole school funds between October and November last year. A $10,000 cash bond was set as the case proceeded.
