Informal Council Discusses City School Exchange Plans
City council and school officials discussed a proposed land exchange to expand recreation facilities and build a new 400 pupil school on city-adjacent property. Officials expect a report on properties and costs, with construction possibly starting in March or April. The Rt. 57 bypass realignment was also presented to aid northwest development.
