Fire officials probe $10,000 East 13th Street blaze
Elyria Fire Department continues investigation into the $10,000 fire that gutted the second floor of a vacant two story house at 252 East 13th Street. Asst. Fire Chief Floyd Rumph said the cause is undetermined though an exploded fuel can near the origin site is suspected. Neighbors reported youths near the house in the past and owner J. Fred Sullivan, 517 Gulf Road, was identified yesterday at the scene.
