DayBreak Lavender Farm in Streetsboro spans 14 acres and grows over 13 varieties of lavender organically. The founders Jody Byrne and Michael Slyker host Lavender Harvest 2010 with pick-your-own bouquets, a DayBreak Boutique, lavender tastings, and lectures. Open noon to 5 p.m. today through Saturday and Sundays noon to 4, with boutique hours Wednesday to Saturday. Visitors can sample chocolate lavender treats and tea while learning cultivation and harvest practices.
