Teen gets probation after fatal Hurley stabbing case
Duane Hurley was killed January 22 in Elyria Omega County. Daniel Kovarbasich, 16, was convicted of voluntary manslaughter and aggravated assault after a trial in April. Judge James Burge sentenced him to five years of probation and ordered residential treatment, but Daniel remains in county jail awaiting placement.

The world famous eight horse team will visit the Lorain County Fair on August 25 from 1 30 to 4 30 p m. The Clydesdales stand about six feet tall and weigh 1800 to 2300 pounds and will be among hundreds of fair appearances this year.

Suspects Sought In Circle K Armed Robbery
Elyria police seek two Black men in a Circle K robbery at 4 45 a m on North Abbe Road. The pair, both with medium builds, demanded cash at gunpoint and fled on foot with 189 dollars. One wore a dark hoodie and mask. the other a dark sweatshirt with a white skeleton print and a full mask.
