Live shells from deep sea lines draw Elyria collector
Mrs. Burton Coburn of 229 Hilliard pursues shell collecting by diving and fishing. She finds live shells on fishing lines and in mud flats, warns of dangerous cone shells, and uses tools like vials, a plastic bucket, a small shovel, a diving mask, and tweezers. She cleans, preserves, and mounts many specimens for display at the Elyria Public Library.
