Breckenridge School Opens With New Staff
Miss Ivah Porter of Flint visits two weeks with her parents the Partees as Breckenridge public schools begin Tuesday September 7 under Superintendent H Blair Vall and a corps including Lydia Rehfus Linda Knorpp Milo Sawvel Lottie Richardson Ada Roy al and Edith Doty. Sunday the 12th marks the 17th annual Grail Hot county Sunday School Association convention with programs at Congregational and Methodist churches led by Rev Wm t Ithaca and Mr Mohr.

Local Notes From Forest Hill and Nearby Communities
Mrs James Tawersey is seriously ill with pneumonia. Mrs Emma Daily hosted guests from Otisville and Lansing earlier this week. Mrs J Lanshaw entertained her Junele Thos Bournes and Garfield Bournes with his wife from Adrian Sunday to Tuesday. Mrs Harvey Parsons returned Sunday from a month with her daughter Mrs James Carter at Grand Ledge. A4 Brown was in Saginaw on business Friday. Mr and Mrs L H L Wood and child of Alma visited relatives Sunday. Fred Robinson of Alma spent the weekend with his parents. Fred Towersey left work with the telephone company to care for his mother. Chas Pitt was brought home from Carney’s hospital Sunday afternoon and is improving. A number from here attended the state fair in Detroit last week.
