War veterans aid bill gains administration approval
Washington reports a new Langley Kentucky bill proposes 316 million dollars for building additional veterans hospitals under the Veterans Bureau. The measure, supported alongside a 16 million clause, adds to 510 million already authorized for 1922 disability programs. Colonel Forbes asserts large current expenditures prove government support for ex service men, noting daily cash payments, hospital care, vocational training, insurance, and medical services.
