Alma City Commission Meeting June 15 1920 Alma Michigan
The Alma city commission held a regular session at City Chambers with Mayor Charles R. Murphy presiding. Present were Commissioners Chick Creaser and Glass. Archer was absent. Minutes were approved and bills ordered paid. The board authorized borrowing funds in anticipation of July 1920 taxes and issued a written obligation due by September 1, 1920. It also authorized the City Manager to prepare plans for a water works system to meet present and future needs. Ordinance No 115 was placed on first reading. The meeting adjourned with Jessie Wolford and R. Murphy signing.
