New Heroism Discussed At Union Meeting

Union meeting in the college chapel featured Rev. Charles W. Sidebotham delivering an address on The New Heroism using Isaiah 24. He argued for a shift from warlike heroism to peaceable, constructive heroism with plowshares and pruning hooks, emphasizing limiting work to fit capacity and three facets: bravery, brain power, and ideality. Regular Alma council meeting followed with votes on poles, sewers, resignations, and several fund payments.
