Elwell New Era Club Meeting and Local Notices
The New Idea club met at Mrs. Ella Medier’s home with twenty one members and two visitors. Plans were discussed, a luncheon served, and next meeting set with Mrs. Arthur Murphy. Local notices mention court verdicts, wool sales, and numerous neighborhood visits and travels among residents such as the Slingluffs, Hicks, and Taylors. Memorial Day events included a school program and a parade through Elwell.
