School Program Draws 300 Attend at Local High
A public school program last Friday night drew over three hundred attendees. Proceeds totaling 1175 will fund a phonograph for the school. Kindergarteners performed a Maypole dance, grades five and six presented Greeting the Gipsy Queen, and the girls gym class showcased drills. Harold Jenkins of Crystal visited en route home on sick furlough, returning from France with trench life notes.

Methodist Church Set to Install Pipe Organ in Alma
A vigorous campaign by the Methodist church of Alma aims to install a pipe organ and remodel the basement to expand space. The Holy City Chorus Plans Friday Concert at School Auditorium
The high school chorus of 180 voices, directed by Mae Jones, will perform Gaul's The Holy City this Friday in the school auditorium.
