In Richland township Vestaburg voters faced no opposition on election day. The ticket elected includes Supervisor Austin M, Township Clerk Nickerson, Highway Commissioner James Corder, Justices of the Peace John Horton for four years and Charles Snyder for two, Board of Review member Wm Fisk for two years, and Constables Edwin McLale, Chas Corder, Ray Goris, Frank Hanlin. The fourth annual Richland Township Cemetery Association meeting is set for April 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Vestaburg schoolhouse.
The 35 year old man died after farm life in Richland township near Vestaburg. He had married Mas Rule Derhin and resided in Vestaburg and Lansing before moving to Belding. Survived by three children of Belding, mother Mia, siblings and numerous relatives. Funeral held at Church of Christ in Vestaburg with Rev. J D Tanner officiating. interment in Richland cemetery near Vestaburg.

Several from this vicinity attended the funeral of Mrs Walston south of Alma on Monday. Mrs Pred Johnson of Riverdale is visiting her parents the Rockafellows. Mrs George Fink and Dean spent a few days with her parents in Alina. Mr id Mrs Amother Otto have moved to Lansing to make their future home.
