Woman Farmers May Benefit From Bureau Study
A government inquiry asked wives of farmers about farm life and from their letters a possible bureau to improve conditions emerged. Proposals include labor saving devices and flexible help during rush seasons, though paternalism and interference worry farmers. Some say a two man bureau could inform, but not be essential.
