Ambition and qualifications for church overseers
The article argues that ambition to be a bishop is not sinful if driven by service and genuine ability. It outlines Paul’s expected qualities for church officers, stressing practicality, discernment, dignity, and proven leadership over mere spiritual gifts. A bishop should teach, manage, love, and understand people, not merely pray.
